AL UMMA PARK IN BAGHDAD COMPETITION

Participants are asked to redesign Al Umma Park as a green lung in the capital’s dense urban fabric, creating an optimistic vision for the future and a safe space for public gatherings and socialising. Proposals should reflect the legacy of the park and integrate the existing artwork within its redesign.

PRIZES

• 1st Prize: 6 MONTHS EMPLOYMENT AT DEWAN ARCHITECTS + ENGINEERS, RENEWABLE TO ONE YEAR OR $6000*
• 2nd Prize: $3000 + CERTIFICATE + Trip to the 2019 Award Ceremony (Flights and Hotel).
• 3rd Prize: $1000 + CERTIFICATE + Trip to the 2019 Award Ceremony (Flights and Hotel).

ELIGIBILITY: Open to all

*1st prize will be a fully paid employment at Dewan for 6 months expandable to one year supervised by senior architects with experience in all departments. If for any reason this cannot be achieved then a sum of $6000 will be presented

Barjeel Museum for Modern Arab Art in Sharjah

Participants are asked to design an architectural and cultural landmark that hosts the Barjeel collection and represents modern art, architecture and design in the Arab world. 

PRIZES

• 1st Prize: The Rifat Chadirji Statuette (Designed by International artist Dia Azzawi) + $5000
• 2nd Prize: $1000 + CERTIFICATE + Trip to the 2018 Award Ceremony (Flights and Hotel).
• 3rd Prize: $1000 + CERTIFICATE + Trip to the 2018 Award Ceremony (Flights and Hotel).

INTERNATIONAL GRADUATION PROJECTS AWARD

students of Architecture, Urban Design, Urban Planning, Architecture Technology and Landscape Design worldwide to submit their Graduation Projects. An independent international jury will review all entries and will select the winners of Tamayouz International Award 2019. 

PRIZES

• 1st Prize: An MSc Scholarship for 2 Years at the Polytechnic University of Milan,
• 2nd Prize: A Travel Scholarship for 7 days, the Scholarship Covers Accommodation and Flights for the winner to attend the annual award ceremony.
• 3rd Prize: A Travel Scholarship for 7 days, the Scholarship Covers Accommodation and Flights for the winner to attend the annual award ceremony.
• Supervisor the Year Medal.
• University of the Year Medallion. 
• All the selected winners making the TOP 3 list, the supervisor of the year and the university of the Year will be invited to attend our annual Tamayouz Excellence Award ceremony (Travel Expenses covered by the organisers of the Award).
